Access by car

"Rainbow Line Summit park" is placed on the way of the Mikata Five Lakes toll road ('Rainbow Line'). Please get off at Hyuga tollgate (from Mihama-cho side) or Umiyama tollgate (from Wakasa-cho side).

About Rainbow Line

Rainbow Line was completed in May 1968 to lead to the top of Mt. Baijodake as the best viewpoint of Mikata Five Lakes. The total distance of Rainbow Line is 11.24 kilometers.

Rainbow Line toll fee

Rainbow Line is a motorway. The toll fees are charged from 1,060yen to 4,000yen depending on the size of vehicle.Bicycles or walking are not allowed to pass. Motorbikes over 50cc are charged 740yen.
